La Cumbre Chalatenango in El Salvador

There are 200 families that live in this village with a total of 134 children under the age of 5. Dirty water is the leading cause of death for children under 5 in this area. The whole community does not have access to clean water. 80% of this community also has skin rashes due to the water quality. The water they have access to comes from a well and the well water is extremely dirty. The community primarily makes their living off of agriculture cultivation, coffee picking and producing.
