Ms. Suong's family includes four children. The first child went to work to help support the family, and the other three are of school age. Since receiving the water filter from GIBTK and ATTA in June 2022, her family is no longer anxious about not having enough clean water for the entire family.

Every day, she filters around 40 liters of clean water for the entire family. Her husband, in particular, frequently goes the forest to collect honey and wild orchids to support the family's income. Every month, he must spend around 20 days in the forest. When there was no filter, he had to drink water from the little ponds and streams in the forest. Because that water source was frequently impure, he used to suffer from diarrhea.

Fortunately, whenever he goes to the forest, his family will filter and store water at home, so he can bring the filter with him to filter and drink clean water.
